We start this pic with a performance in the Double-H Boots booth at the Cowboy Christmas in Vegas during the National Finals Rodeo in December.
To start off the new year we flew to Austin, TX to showcase for the Texas Fairs and our friend Dave Miller with Asleep at the Wheel met us...and minutes later we ran into our hero...Ray Benson himself!
Here we are on stage for our showcase at the Texas Fairs Convention in Austin, TX. The theme of their convention was 'Together We're Stronger'!
Here's the whole gang at the trade show booth with our friend Cindy Ward who was representing us...it's a dang party!
Paul Loranger playing the one string 'gut bass' with our old freinds Lloyd Mabrey and Washboard Willie!
We then flew the next day...with no sleep...from Austin to NYC to perform a showcase for Performing Arts Centers in Midtown Manhattan and Keith caught a few winks under a table in our green room!
While in Manhattan we stayed a block off of Times Square and went for a frigid 1am strole...because we could!!!
A week later we flew from Arizona to Reno, NV to sing the Canadian and US National Anthems at the Western Fairs Association Convention's opening session.
The speaker that opening session was Huell Howser who did an expose on California Fairs last year on his 'California Gold' program...he was a true gentleman and a compelling speaker!
Also represented by our agency 'Harmony Artists' is Mallory Lewis and Lamb Chop...the daughter of the legendary Shari Lewis...here Lamp Chop gives Ken a kiss! She's amazing!
