What is this all about you ask?

The Doo-Wah Riders participate every year in The Doris Davies Memorial Bicycle Giveaway! The event is hosted by the non-profit "Benefit Everyone, Assist Recreation and Sports", or BEARS. Additional support comes from the Victorville Parks and Recreation Department and various other entities. We also rely on the generosity of our loyal fans and audiences nation-wide. It takes a village, right?

Your $50 donation will help us to provide a bicycle for either a boy or girl. Last year (2025), with your help, we were able to donate 178 bicycles to children at risk. Any donation, in any amount, is greatly appreciated. We raised a total of $13,600 dollars in 2025.

The Doo-Wahs remain dedicated to another successful year of fundraising in 2026 for the kids. We have been a proud participant in this fundraising effort for over 20 years. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who supported The Doris Davies Memorial Bicycle Drive in 2025. From Texas to Montana, Idaho to San Diego, Massachusetts to Alberta, Canada, we received such tremendous financial support from everyone. We raised over $13,600 in 2025! And now, we want to keep going in 2026. We thank everyone who sent a check, donated online, and helped make last year a grand success. Your kindness helps hundreds of children who live in the Victorville School District realize their dream of a true Christmas miracle. The youngsters chosen to receive a new bicycle for Christmas are hand-picked by their teachers because they excel in good citizenship, hard work at school, and dedication to their futures. You make it possible! Let's make it happen again in 2026!
