2007 - After a long absence, due to illness, we are sad to report that Kenny Lynerd will not be coming back with the band. We are happy to say that he has successfully completed his treatments for Hepititus C. He has fully recovered and is ready to get on with life. After 8 months at home, he has decided that his place is with his wife and family. Kenny has been a big part of our team for the last 12 years. We already miss him very much and we wish Kenny, Mindy, and Sarah all the best with their new life in North Carolina.

2007 - We'd like to extend BIG THANKS to Bill Mooney, who did a tremendous job filling in for Kenny while he was sick. We appreciate all the 400 mile drives back and forth from his home in Vallejo to Southen California

2007 - Filly's in Apache Junction, AZ is becoming a favorite and frequent stop of ours. Steve and Lisa Fleming have created a wonderful environment for music and the best broasted chicken we've ever tasted

2007 -Filly's is one of the few places we play where you can ride your horse right up to club. This horse came ready to party!

2007 - Owner, Steve Fleming, is one hell of a guitar player. He and Keith worked together for many years in Spokane. One of the perks of playing at Filly's is jamming with Steve

2007 - Our skydiving friend, LaDonna Rice thought we would enjoy the gift of flight. We weren't quite ready to jump out of an airplane yet, but we loved the experience of flying in the wind tunnel in Eloy, Arizona

2007 - The Doo-Wah Riders were invited to perform at the nation's largest All Indian Rodeo in Casa Grande, AZ. We were honored to be part of this great event. Thanks to Tom Sailor, and Danny and Sherry Brown for including us

2007- A rare Southern California appearance of our buddy Kip Attaway at Cowboy Country, one of our favorite clubs. As usual, Kip rocked the joint and a great afternoon was had by all. Ken and Lindy were there for the festivities and sat in with Kip.

2007 - We are proud to once again be part of the benefit concert for the Hospice of Yuma. This year's headlliner was our friend Tracy Byrd. It was a blast to hook up with him and his fine band again. Tracy was awesome, as usual and we were able to raise a lot of money. Thanks to all for supporting this worthy cause. Thanks to Will, Skip, and all the crew from Atlantis Audio for the great sound

2007 - It was great to be back at Brew Brothers for the annual meeting of the Safari Club. We look forward to coming back to the Eldorado in June for the Reno Rodeo!

2007 - Here's some friends at the Cowboy Palace in Chatsworth, CA sporting our 'Doo-Wah Fashion Wear' and owners Billy and Margery showing off Billy's custom embroidered Hillbilly Ranch/DW Riders western shirt. This is the one club you can dance to live country music 7 nights a week and the only place you can order up

2007 - We had a wonderful visit with Big Chris Hart at Cub Country 94.5 in Reno, NV. Chris has been playing our new single, "Dear Beer", and invited us down to the station to chat. We look forward to coming back to Brew Brothers during the Reno Rodeo in June. If you're in Reno and want to hear some great country music, tune in to Cub Country 94.5. Thanks Chris, for all your support!!

2007 - The White Mountains were truly white last week. We were pounded with snow for our last few days at the Hon-Dah Casino. It made for a "fun filled" drive down the mountain.

2007 - As we reported a few months ago, we lost our dear friend Rick Fatland to cancer. This was our first WFA Convention without him. Rick and Judie Fatland, along with Ernie and Mary Lee Guderjahn were the founders of the annual bowling tournament. It was very fitting that Rick was given a "bowler's salute" at the beginning of the tournament. 50 bowlers, in concert, all threw one ball in his memory. Rick's presence was definitely felt. After bowling six strikes in a row, Ken is convinced he "channeled" Rick. Rick and Judie Fatland gave us our start in the fair business.

2006 - NFR - Our producer, Gary Morse, was in town to perform with Brooks and Dunn and have a little party time with us. We thank Gary for the awesome seats at the National Finals Rodeo

2006- Pir niddu John Shaw has a show that you have to see to believe. He eats light bulbs, drinks Windex, and is one of the only few performers I've ever seen freak out Howard Stern.

2006-
NFR 06 / Our friend JJ at KTHQ
A trip to the White Mountains would never be complete without a visit to KTHQ in
Pinetop, AZ. Our friend JJ has been faithfully playing our music for almost ten
years. We always have fun visiting the station and love the opportunity to perform
"live" on the air.
We had a great time at the Excalibur during NFR. We thought we'd all get in the
Christmas spirit by gift wrapping Perry's drum booth. It was funny for about an
hour, then we decided to unwrap him!

2006 - A trip to the White Mountains would never be complete without a visit to KTHQ in Pinetop, AZ. Our friend JJ has been faithfully playing our music for almost ten years. We always have fun visiting the station and love the opportunity to perform

2006 - PBR - PBR was awesome as usual. Thanks to everyone at Mandalay Bay for the royal treatment. We had a great time

2006 - PBR - We had the opportunity to perform at the PBR Fanzone. We went on right after Flint Rasmusson's "Outside the Barrel" show with the Bellamy Brothers. Hard act to follow!

2006 - We went directly from Las Vegas to Rapid City, SD for the Rocky Mtn. Fair Buyer's convention. How cool is this???? We got to hang out and visit with the legendary "Riders in the Sky", who are also represented by our agents at Harmony Artists. These guys are not only the very best at what they do, offstage they are some of the nicest, most fun people you'd ever want to meet

2006 - Our favorite part of the RMFA Convention are the nightly jams with our fellow musicians. The jams would never happen without our buddy John Dunnigan (on the banjo), who puts in an enormous amount of time and effort on everyone's behalf. You never know what's going to happen or who's going to stop by. How cool to have Ty England and his very talented band

2006- The beautiful woman hanging all over Lindy is talk radio star Sam Phillips. It must suck to be Lindy!

2006 - Pinetop AZ - Seems no matter what time of year we are up here, we manage to get in a bit of fishing. Ken seems to have caught the big fish of the week!

2006 - ...I think the fish was getting a bit nervous at this point...But you know you have to show a big guy like this off!! Way to go Keith!

2006 - Pinetop AZ - Now for something completely different...why have we never thought of Doo-Wah doggie-wear?!? This Doo-Wah fan attended our show in Monrovia recently. I think this may catch on!

2006 - Pinetop AZ - ...well....meet the 'Crawfish Hunter'! Croikey!!! Keith has either caught a very big crawfish...or a very small lobster!

2006 - Pinetop AZ - We have had the honor of attending many Apache Events, and have always been moved by them, as we were at this year's Pow-Wow

2006 - Are you detecting a theme here? Speaking of legends... one of the world's greatest fiddle players (and former Doo-Wah Rider!) Byron Berline was in the area for the Calico Bluegrass Festival. Byron is now living in Guthrie, OK and has a huge bluegrass festival the first weekend of October every year. Through the years, he's played and recorded with The Rolling Stones, Bill Monroe, Elton John, Emmylou Harris and many, many others. We had a great time jamming with these astounding musicians. John Hickman on banjo, Bill Bryson (from the

2006-And speaking of legends.... Whoops ... It's just Ken and it's just sound check, but we thought you'd like a view of the cool stage

2006 - Cars Release - Despite the rain, an estimated 31,000 people showed up for this great event! Here's the Doo-Wahs with a few folks in the background!

2006- Speaking of legends, Paul Newman was there for all of the festivities. He's a race car fanatic. Although you can't see him, that's Paul Newman taking a few laps around the track during our sound check. From what we hear, he was having so much fun.

2006-It's hard to compete with Keith during the "Orange Blossom Special." Ken jumped on the back of this cart during his harmonica solo and had them drive through the pavilion. You can't blame them for looking a little baffled

2006 - We've known Brian and Suzy Haner for many years. When we met them, they had a fantastic band called Suzy and the Knockouts. Suzy is now one of the most in demand hypnotists on the circuit. We persuaded them both to jam with us at the Maricopa Co. Fair. It was great to hear her sing again. You haven't lost it Suzy!! Brian is still blazing on guitar. You can hear his guitar work on the new "Avenged Sevenfold" cd

2006-Meet Bill Mooney! Kenny has some health issues that he's dealing with and will off the road for the next few months. Bill is graciously filling in until Kenny comes back. He's a great guy and doing a fantastic job filling those very big shoes. We'd like to take this opportunity to assure everyone that Kenny is going to be fine and he greatly appreciates all the e-mails and good

2006- Our buddy and former Doo-Wah Rider, Eddie Tuduri stopped by to visit us at the Cowboy Palace. We couldn't resist getting him up to play. He was only going to play a few songs, but we ended up jamming for a full set. Eddie has toured and recorded with The Beach Boys, Rick Nelson, Dobie Gray, Dwight Yoakham, and way too many more to mention. He is currently the director of The Rhythmic Arts Program (TRAP) This remarkable program, created by a remarkable man, helps people with a wide range of disabilities. Concentrating on focus, attention span, simple drumbeats and clapping, playing along with music, the TRAP program has had remarkable results on patients with traumatic brain injury, mental illness, Cerebral Palsy, developmental disabilities and in the care of Alzheimer's and other dementia. We strongly suggest you check out their website: www.traponline.com . .................................................................................................

2006-Once again..... Speaking of legends, here's Keith with the man himself. Keith is now the proud owner of a genuine Richard Petty autographed guitar. What an honor to meet Richard Petty and shake

2006 - The world premiere of "Cars" was an amazing experience to be a part of. Brad Paisley, Diamond Rio, Chuck Berry, and Larry the Cable Guy were all on hand for the event. Definitely check out the movie when it comes out. It gets the Doo-Wahs two thumbs up! Thanks to Kevin Frawley and Mike Dixon for including us. Here's Perry and Ken with Chuck Berry, Larry the Cable Guy, Kevin Frawley, and Harmony "super agent" Mike Dixon. We had the honor of being Chuck Berry's back up band. After playing his music for as long as we can remember.

2006 - Country Thunder - Once again, we had an amazing time at Country Thunder. We had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Trick Pony, LeAnn Rimes, and Miranda Lambert. It was great to see so many of our friends. Thanks for coming out and supporting us! Thanks to the Amigos for taking good care of us!!

2006-We finished working on the new CD. Gary Morse, our fine producer and good friend, flew out west for the rest of the overdubs. We worked at the Steak House in North Hollywood. Thanks to Brent Wood for being so accommodating to us. Here's a shot of Gary in his producers shirt!

2006 - Our friends Butch and Jean Anderson snapped this pic of the great crowd in Silver Springs, Florida recently. We felt like we should include it this week. Look at those fine looking folks!

2006 - Sun Valley ID - And of course no trip to Sun Valley would be proper without seeing our buddy Joe Cannon! We've worked with Joe all over the country. He's been entertaining in Sun Valley for many years. The place is always packed. Joe pulled us up on stage for a song at the Boiler Room

2006 - Sun Valley ID - We were just in Sun Valley, Idaho. As always, it was a beautiful place to be this time of year. Here's a famous barn that has been around since the 1930's, and is shown in the film 'Sun Valley Serenade'. The movie is shown around the clock at the Sun Valley Resort.

2006 - Recording in Nashville - Here's another shot of Gary playing the acoustic lap steel. Gary tours with Brooks and Dunn and is a world class steel guitarist. He is also one of our very best friends and works tirelessly on our projects

2006 - Recording in Nashville -
Recording in Nashville!
We have been so anxious to get back in the studio and work
on a new CD. So that's where we've been. For all of you who
have been asking about a new Doo-Wah CD it will be out very
soon!! We spent 6 days in Nashville putting in 14 hours a day
with our producer, Gary Morse. Here we are with Gary and
Colin Heldt, who engineered the project

2006 - Recording in Nashville - We recorded at Darkhorse Recording Studio in Franklin, TN. A huge thanks to Robin Crow for treating us so well. He gave us his house to stay in, and spared no effort in making us feel at home. What a beautiful setting for making music

2006 - Recording in Nashville - Yes, studio work is a time of intense concentration......Hey! You sank my battleship!!

2006 - Recording in Nashville - A shot of us with Jeff Hale, who helped us out on this project. Jeff toured and recorded many years with Waylon Jennings

2006 - Florida - One more shot of the great crowd at Pleasure Island. Thanks to all who came out and celebrated Mardi Gras with Crawdaddio!

2006 -
Great Florida Crowds!
We spent the last week in Florida. Yes, it's Mardi Gras time on
Pleasure Island and we became our alter-ego, Crawdaddio.
The crowds started off great and got better as Fat Tuesday
approached. So this weeks pics are mostly of....YOU!!

2006 - Florida! We spent the last week in Florida. Yes, it's Mardi Gras time on Pleasure Island and we became our alter-ego, Crawdaddio. The crowds started off great and got better as Fat Tuesday approached. So this weeks pics are mostly of....YOU!

2006-We encountered this guy at a restaurant. I think he was just out for a drive and got a little hungry

..so Keith crawled under the bus and put our chains on. When the big rigs are sliding around we know we're in some bad weather. Too bad there wasn't more room under the bus.

2006-We just returned from Sun River, Oregon. What a beautiful place. We didn't see much sun, however! Yes, there is a road somewhere under the vehicles. We had a jack-knifed big rig just ahead of us

2006 - We played in Greeley, Colorado at Doug Kershaw's Bayou House, and guess who showed up. We couldn't twist his arm to sit in with us, but the legendary Doug Kershaw watched a couple sets and took this shot with us.

2006-We also had another special guest, our friend and producer, Gary Morse. Gary is touring with Brooks and Dunn

2006-The Legendary KW Turnbow and Ned LeDoux. They drive this great band. We've known KW for many years, and have had some great times with him...some of which we can actually remember!!

2006-We have had some great times at this party in the past. This night had to be the most special of all. Over the years we had the great honor of working with the late Chris LeDoux many times. We got to be very good friends with his band, Western Underground. If you had the privilege of seeing Chris, you saw him with this great band. We were honored to have them as our special guests! Most recently they performed with Garth Brooks in Times Square for the CMA Awards. Thanks to Mark Sissel, Bobby Jensen, KW Turnbow, Ned LeDoux, Lyle Evans

2006-This may just look like another pic of our bus.....but those of you who have followed us over the past 2 years will appreciate this pic of the bus in Denver!! Double-H Boots throws a big party here every year, and we've had some adventures getting the bus to the party.
